week three

Gorgeous in My new Red Buggy....bye bye orange stroller....

Kate - your'e not really moving to Cornwall are you??

Frank please stay and walk me round and round the kitchen!

Nelly's first trip to Tate Modern! well the Turbine Hall is a great place for walking!

and there was a puppeteer in town!

Sleeping her way through Borough Market!

My First swing in Dulwich Park....

Hungry after Gymbabes!

More coffee in the park!

Week Three - she is no longer special just our little girl! Well of course she is special but we cannot keep treating her with kid gloves so we are getting into routines, and even having to teach her the word NO when she tries to pull over a lamp, pull all of the washing out of the machine or try to climb into the dishwasher!

Wednesday saw Debbie and Molly, Fiona and Nina and Nelly and I join a very large class sitting around singing with our children on our knees - well everyone elses children were on knees Miss Nelly was all over the place - desperate to walk ...but we all sang nicely...

She is really getting on with walking now ... and her visit to Gymbabes on Thursday morning has really helped, she loved ther clambering over everything but was still a little reticent on certain things, she gives the impression of being superconfident in some things but is sometimes quite shy; amazing how much of a personality is shown through someone who cannot speak at all!

Thursday afternoon Rob was at home and we decided to take a trip to Bromley, Nelly was well bored being pushed around in her new buggy and certainly let us know that she is not amused at having to be pushed around shops on a rainy afternoon! so no more shopping! decided that even a walk out of the house down to the library is more fun than the car and then the shops!

Friday of week three we decided to go up to Borough Market for the day - as it was her lunchtime we headed straight to Wagamamas to feed Nelly, as it was half term and Friday lunchtime the place was heaving but we managed to get a seat in the window, people outside laughed as ROb and I alternated feeding Nelly with dumplings with chopsticks! they must have thought it was staged!. We then took her off to Tate Modern for a wander around the Turbine Hall, she loved all the space and being able to crawl around freely, think this will turn into a regular outing! by the time we had taken her up to some of the new hangings on the third floor she had fallen asleep! plenty more years of trips to galleries! We then took her along to meet fellow colleagues at BoB - where everyone gooed over her, we then took a train home and Frank and Kate popped in for a drink...Franke then got roped in to walking her around and around the kitchen!

Saturday - another lunch in Cafe ROuge and tea at Lisa and Karens..we then took Kate her birthday presents and fed Nelly there and then she watched her first England Rugby game, she was quite engrossed! The next day we popped into other friends and watched Arsenal and Chelsea - again quite interested! oh no !

Hi Louise, thanks for posting your link to my blog! Nelly is soo precious!! I wonder if our babies were play mates at Dianbai..
We've been home 2+ months now with little jasmine, and having routines makes such a difference. You really need them to stay sane :)
I'll bookmark your blog, and will visit again. Take care!
