So today just 14 days before the second anniversary of meeting nelly we did a trip to a and e ! Leaving this foggy frosty morning for our village toddler group Nelly managed to propel herself from the front door down 4 steps and landed on a foot scraping doormat and bang a massive gash to her chin she looked like she had two little mouths . After 3 hours we left with her chin all steri stripped up , she also buy her tongue but that stopped bleeding after about ten minutes . She was so brave she cried for about 40 minutes but soon calmed down after huge amounts of calpol ! Amazing how vulnerable they seem but. Being that almost three year old they really take it all in and listen to every word the doctor said. After a quick lunch. We managed a trip to the vets for the cats annual injections so two medical trips in one day in the feezing fog !

thanks shawn - it was quite a scary moment and so much blood but she has been fantastic and is well o the mend and healing well...hope the building work on the farm going well have been checking out the blog..happy new Year by the way!
Oh, Louise! I just came by for an update to your blog - haven't stopped by for a while.
Poor, poor Nelly! Oh, my! What an injury and what a brave, brave little girl. So glad she's on the mend but what a fright that must have been for you both.
